Brisbane Paediatric Dentistry is one of the first Paediatric Dental Practices to be established in Brisbane. Dr Linnett has specialized in Dentistry for Children since 2000 and has been a dentist in private practice for over 30 years.
We know that tooth decay is an infectious, transmissible disease that can be prevented and we can help you understand why your child has cavities, restore your child’s teeth and help you prevent further problems.
We understand that going to the dentist can be frightening, and with our child friendly surgery and experienced staff, we do our best to make your child’s visit positive. We aim to let your child know that we are there to help them.
Our main focus is prevention. Dr Linnett can advise you of the most effective diet and oral home care to prevent dental problems.
If your child needs dental treatment, we can offer the following sedation/anaesthetic options:
- Treatment with Happy Gas (nitrous oxide/oxygen sedation)
- Treatment under general anaesthetic in rooms
- Treatment under general anaesthetic in hospital
We have one of the few “in rooms” General Anaesthetic facilities in Australia. With a team of leading Specialist Anaesthetists, we can offer state of the art treatment for anxious littlies who are too young to have normal dental treatment while awake.
